What Our Guests Are Saying About Their Stay

“Barry and Fran’s place was our favorite out of the 5 places we stayed during our 9 night holiday in Ireland. The home was clean but so cozy, and the perfect retreat. We enjoyed having coffee and breakfast outside, and our own happy hour after a day of exploring Adare.”

Outstanding rental for a week for our family of four. Barry could not be a more friendly, helpful host! Location is ideal as a central hub from which to explore western Ireland. It is an hour + to Galway, Dingle, Killarney and Cork. We went out touring every day, and it was such a pleasure to simply return "home" each night. And of course, Adare is incredibly charming on its own. Last, once again, kudos and tremendous thanks to Barry and Fran! We very much hope to return some day, and this is the only call I will make!

Barry and Fran were lifesavers when our accommodations elsewhere were cancelled the day we were supposed to check in. But I think we lucked out and had an incredible stay in beautiful Adare. Barry was so helpful and met us at check in to show us around. The grounds are so peaceful and we felt right at home. Our kids had fun running in the large yard and playing with Suzie the sweetest dog. Everything was clean and well maintained....

We had a wonderful stay. The house and garden are lovely and even better than described. There were many considerate conveniences including breakfast items and more. The hosts were so welcoming and helpful and we adore their sweet dog too. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience - truly a perfect stay in Adare!

This location and house was great! It was easy to find and not so far out in the country that driving was a concern. It felt safe and beautiful. The house is interesting in its design and history. The rooms are spacious and spread out in the house. They had a lot of little things that made life easier when you are traveling. Barry was helpful about points out restaurants and other things like parking. This house is nicer than the pictures show. It was nice to sit outside and eat. Susie, the dog, was an excellent greeter. I would definitely stay here again if I was in the area.

Barry and Fran went above and beyond. They supplied toast, cereal, eggs, jams and juice. We were pleasantly surprised! If you are looking to enjoy a bit of country and true Irish hospitality this the place for you. Adare has so much to offer from great restaurants to traditional thatched roof homes. We would book again in a heartbeat!
