What Our Guests Are Saying About Their Stay

“Barry and Fran’s place was our favorite out of the 5 places we stayed during our 9 night holiday in Ireland. The home was clean but so cozy, and the perfect retreat. We enjoyed having coffee and breakfast outside, and our own happy hour after a day of exploring Adare.”

Our family had a wonderful and relaxing stay at Barry and Fran’s place. They were such gracious and welcoming hosts. It was very close to the village of Adare to get anything you need, and very central in general if you need to get to the Cliffs of Moher or Ring of Kerry — it’s a great home base. Thanks for a great stay!

Outstanding rental for a week for our family of four. Barry could not be a more friendly, helpful host! Location is ideal as a central hub from which to explore western Ireland. It is an hour + to Galway, Dingle, Killarney and Cork. We went out touring every day, and it was such a pleasure to simply return "home" each night. And of course, Adare is incredibly charming on its own. Last, once again, kudos and tremendous thanks to Barry and Fran! We very much hope to return some day, and this is the only call I will make!

Staying at Bari and Fran's home was one of my favorite BnB experiences ever. Not only were we greeted by Barry who was incredibly friendly and gracious, we were totally taken with his beautiful home, the grounds, and just how lovely everything was. One of the highlights of our stay, however, has to be the warmest and friendliest greeting by Susie, Barry and Fran's amazing boxer dog. She truly made our stay feel right at home. I couldn't recommend Bari and friends place more. I truly hope one day I'll be back for Susie to greet us again.

Barry and Fran were lifesavers when our accommodations elsewhere were cancelled the day we were supposed to check in. But I think we lucked out and had an incredible stay in beautiful Adare. Barry was so helpful and met us at check in to show us around. The grounds are so peaceful and we felt right at home. Our kids had fun running in the large yard and playing with Suzie the sweetest dog. Everything was clean and well maintained....

This location and house was great! It was easy to find and not so far out in the country that driving was a concern. It felt safe and beautiful. The house is interesting in its design and history. The rooms are spacious and spread out in the house. They had a lot of little things that made life easier when you are traveling. Barry was helpful about points out restaurants and other things like parking. This house is nicer than the pictures show. It was nice to sit outside and eat. Susie, the dog, was an excellent greeter. I would definitely stay here again if I was in the area.
