I can’t say enough about this place. It was perfect. The hosts are so kind, and personable. The house was spotless. Extremely homey feeling while away from home. I’ve already told all my friends and family to come here. Beautiful countryside, and Adare is close by. I was traveling with my grandmother, and it was perfect the way the downstairs was setup for her to not have to deal with stairs, and the separation for anyone needing space upstairs. Thank you Barry and Fran for helping this be such a memorable experience. You’re doing everything right!

It was very close to the village of Adare to get anything you need, and very central in general if you need to get to the Cliffs of Moher or Ring of Kerry — it’s a great home base. “We loved the stay at Kilknockan Lodge. We wish we could have stayed longer. The house had everything we needed and Barry and Fran were the best of host. We met Barry upon arrival and he was quick to show us around and make us feel right at home. We had fires each night in the outdoor firepit and Barry checked with us to see if we needed anything. It was great to hear about the area and the history. We will definitely plan to stay with them again if we are back in Adare..."

Barry and Fran were lifesavers when our accommodations elsewhere were cancelled the day we were supposed to check in. But I think we lucked out and had an incredible stay in beautiful Adare. Barry was so helpful and met us at check in to show us around. The grounds are so peaceful and we felt right at home. Our kids had fun running in the large yard and playing with Suzie the sweetest dog. Everything was clean and well maintained....

We absolutely loved our stay at Kilnockan Lodge. Barry and Fran were amazing hosts, very welcoming but also very respectful of our privacy. The place is immaculate and the grounds were beautifully kept. Our lodge was very comfortable and a perfect size for our family of 4. They had additional homely touches like breakfast items, biscuits to go with your tea and all bathrooms were fully stocked with body wash, shampoo and conditioner. The location was great, only a short 2-3minute drive to Adare, which is a must to visit if you are in the area.
